Chicago Calendar 2017

This was my first calendar. I didn't want to create just a plain calendar like everyone else, even if they are amazing photos. My calendar needed to stand out. I've always wanted a calendar that showcased the wacky and entertaining national holidays we hear about on twitter, or on the radio, for the older generation. I decided to combine my photography with this concept. After realizing my calendar days were filled with text, I needed to find another way to showcase the holidays. That's when I came up with shaded boxes and a list of the monthly holidays listed in the top right corner. This was a nice, modern way to display a lot of information.
